Pagecord Premium allows you to have 100 email subscribers for your blog. Nobody is close to this yet, except the official Pagecord blog which is way over but that's an edge case.

I've been thinking (and doing the maths) for what it would cost if someone wanted hundreds, even thousands, of subscribers. I had previously put "$5/mo for each additional 500 subscribers" into the FAQ but this felt messy, and would be loss-making.

The FAQ has been changed by adding a new (as yet unlisted) "Pro" plan which is basically the same as Premium but with a cap of 2,000 email subscribers. This is currently priced at $99/year. If someone had this many subscribers and blogged weekly, Pagecord would be sending 104,000 emails a year just for that one account which would still be loss making using current infrastructure, but I'm looking at migrating newsletter sending to a cheaper provider to address this.

This isn't actually a problem that needs to be solved today, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up about the way I'm thinking about handling this in the future.
