Until now Pagecord was limited to creating new posts by email only. This is still my preferred and recommended way to blog because it’s so effortless, but it turns out some people don’t really like their email client that much and would prefer to use an editor in their browser.

I hear you. So from today, everyone can now compose or edit posts directly in the Pagecord app! ✨ 

When you log into Pagecord, you’ll see your list of posts as always. Clicking a post now takes you to the edit screen. To view a post, just click the arrow icon next to the post details. To delete a post, first click to edit, then click the 🗑 icon on the edit screen.

The editor will be familiar and easy to use. Paying customers can upload images directly into the editor, but image attachments are restricted on the free plan. If you need images in your posts, you can upgrade to a paid plan for only $20 a year! Please consider showing your support! 🙏

Since this is a bit of a change to the core product, I've updated the home page to reflect the new functionality. There’s still a lot of work to do here, but hopefully it will sound more attractive to people who feel that the blog-by-email functionality isn’t really for them. What do you think?

New features will continue to come, but the core premise of Pagecord – being the most effortless way to publish your writing online – won’t be affected!
