"Posting into the void" is something you hear rather a lot from people when it comes to blogs. I get it – you spend time and energy posting to your blog, but nobody ever gives you feedback! You know people are reading the posts, but it's not straightforward to reply so people don't bother. Shame.
Well, if you're a Pagecord Premium subscriber (only $20/year – what's stopping you!), you can now enable a new Reply by Email feature in your Audience Settings. With this enabled, when you view a post (in isolation, not on the home page feed) you'll see a new 'reply' icon next to the heart icon:
When your followers click on this, they'll be presented with a form to fill in with their details and their message to you (your email is never revealed):
Once the reply is sent, you'll receive an email with their message. It looks like this:
That's it! Hopefully a bit of engagement now and again, and fewer void screams as a result.
