Typepad has announced that it's closing down. This isn't a massive surprise because it stopped accepted new signups over 5 years ago, but still... not great for people who rely on them to host their work.
They're giving customers less than 40 days notice to find a new home which is not a lot of time. This is a long shot, but if you (or someone you know) happen to be a Typepad customer and you need a new blog home, pronto, then please drop me a line and I'll help you migrate your blog to Pagecord. No problem!
