🔖 Tag your posts by email

I remain steadfast in my belief that blogging by email is the best way to blog! It's why Pagecord was created after all. Only a minority of Pagecord customers blog this way, but those that do absolutely love it, and now they're going to love it even more because as of today you can tag your posts when blogging by email!

All you need to do is end your email with a list of hashtags. These can be across multiple lines if you like, but probably best to just put them all on one line. There are a couple of things to note:

1. Lines that mix non-hashtag content with hashtags will not be processed 
2. Lines with hashtags that are not at the end of the email will not be processed
3. Only letters, numbers and hyphens are allowed in hashtags. Any hashtags that don't match this format will be ignored and removed.

The resulting blog post correctly had three tags with the hashtags themselves remove from the post content:
