Upcoming price increase for Pagecord Premium (new customers only!)
Just putting this out there in case you're a free Pagecord customer thinking about upgrading the Pagecord Premium.

In the next few weeks I plan to increase the price for new customers only from the current $20/year to ~$35/year. Keen to hear your thoughts.

My thinking around this is:
- Pagecord pays your sales tax! The $20 annual price includes sales tax. If your country has a 20% sales tax, this means I only get $16. There's also a fee from the billing provider of 5%, so I actually only receive $15 from the $20. Bummer.
- Pagecord started out as super-basic and people were happy to pay $20. There are now loads more features, some of which cost $$ to run (email subscriptions).
I think something like $35/year is a fairer price. Still super-cheap IMO (especially if this includes your sales tax) – 40% cheaper than Bear Blog and a whopping 70% cheaper than Pika!
I'd make sure existing customers stay on the $20 plan, of course, but I'll happily bump the price on request if you love Pagecord enough to pay a wee bit more each year! 😅
