Updated Terms and Conditions, Jan 2026

The Pagecord terms and privacy policy have been updated to be clearer and more comprehensive. There will be a few more small updates soon as we incorporate as a limited company. Nothing will change about how Pagecord works or how we handle your data, it's just paperwork.

What's new:

• Clearer explanation of how we handle your data under UK GDPR
• List of third-party services we use (Paddle, Hetzner, Cloudflare, etc.)
• Data retention periods (30 days after account deletion, 6 years for billing records)
• Your rights to access, correct, or delete your data
• Our acceptable use policy

What hasn't changed:

• Your content is yours – we host it, you own it
• We still don't sell your data
• We still don't use tracking or advertising cookies
• You can still export your entire blog anytime 
• You can delete your account and data in one click
• Still independent, profitable and supporting the independent small web
